This past November, I once again teamed up with Janice from Endless Pawzabilities to host a Santa photo fundraiser for Carter’s Forever Rescue & Sanctuary.
If you are a pet owner, you just need to go and check out Endless Pawzabilities – a very unique and awesome pet boutique store in Port Dalhousie!
We hosted many, many dogs over two weekends and to answer the question in the title-too many to count!!

Dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments came from the Niagara region to get their photo taken with Santa. It was fun and super cute when the dogs would tilt their head and perk up their ears when I blew my duck whistle. Some dogs were super easy to photograph, and some needed a bit more treats, but I was able to capture some pretty cute images.

For those pets and parents who were a little apprehensive about being in the presence of Santa, we offered sessions without. Just a one-on-one with me and my camera in a quiet room where the pets were free to walk around and I was free to capture their personality.

While I photographed many, many dogs these past two years at Christmas time, this was the first time I photographed a cat! I was wondering if she would try to climb on the chair, but she was very calm and I was able to get some great images for her family.

Do you have a pet and would like to capture their personality and cuteness? Don’t have the patience? Email me at michelle@mlphotography.camera and we can chat about your pet’s next photo session.
In the meantime, enjoy a few more of my favourite images:
