Hi, I’m Michelle, Your Niagara Family Photographer
My Photography Journey
I never intended to start a photography business. However, I’ve always loved taking photos—going way back to when I received my first point and shoot film camera at 14 years old. Today, I specialize in capturing families right here in the Niagara region.
From loading film and developing prints in my dad’s basement darkroom to lugging my first DSLR on a 6-week bike trip across Canada, photography has been woven into my life’s adventures. What started with a disappointing wedding shoot (the developer accidentally ruined my black and white film) eventually led to my first digital DSLR camera. This purchase came with a fun story during an epic girls’ trip to NYC.
After years of photographing friends and family, taking courses, watching YouTube videos, and building my confidence to finally step out of AUTO mode on my camera (thank you, Estelle!), I launched my business in 2021. Today, I can confidently say that I am a Niagara family photographer, capturing families, teens, babies, newborns, and couples in and around this beautiful region of Southern Ontario.
I have evolved my business to focus on creating beautiful wall art and albums that transform your cherished photos into tangible pieces you’ll treasure forever. There’s something magical about seeing your family’s story displayed on your walls or preserved in a gorgeous album—it brings joy every single day.

I strive to make this experience easy, enjoyable, and absolutely worth it.
A Little About Me
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me right here in beautiful Niagara with my husband. our four kids, one grandchild and a pup I swore I’d never get. We’re an active family who loves making the most of every season- playing pickleball, camping, sailing, running, cross country skiing, downhill skiing to name a few!
A few more fun facts about me:
- My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary this past September!! We have three daughters, one son, one super cute grandson, and one lovable pup!
- My husband and I are volleyball parents, cross country parents, parents of two brave and adventurous kids- one in India and one who just got home from travelling Europe, and we are the most fun grandparents.
- I did a 180: I went from “there’s no way we will EVER get a dog” to loving and adoring our labradoodle Piper! She knows how much I love her and I’m her favourite-just say’n…!
- I have always wanted to learn how to row. I do live in St. Catharines after all-home to the Henley rowing course and host of the 2024 World Championship to which I had the opportunity to volunteer at! I finally joined an adult learn to row league and had so much fun!! Learned a new skill, increased my upper body strength, and met some wonderful people! I am completing my 3rd season as a rec rower and going strong.
- I love to stay fit by working out with weights and running, and playing badminton every Tuesday morning. My daughter and I just registered for a half marathon in June!
- Many moons ago-right after University- myself and three friends flew to Vancouver with our bikes and cycled home. It took us six weeks. What a fun adventure! We hope to some day continue our adventure and cycle to the east coast.
